Stanford Achievement Testing
Our annual SAT testing starts next Monday, April 9th and will continue through Friday, April 13th. All students in grades K – 8 will be tested, with subtests being given each day. It is important that students arrive to school on time, as we start testing the first thing in the morning.
Please make sure that your child arrives at school on time, and has had a healthy breakfast. A good night’s sleep will help your child to concentrate on the testing, as well!
If your child is tardy, and testing has begun in the classroom, he or she will have to wait in the office until the class has finished.
There will be no makeup for testing, so please make sure that your child arrives on time daily. If your child is sick, has a temperature, or is vomiting, PLEASE keep him or her at home! Thank you!

Health Update
We have had a number of sick children at school lately, and have been informed of cases of strep, scarlet fever, and various viruses.
Please be aware that in a community of children, we must do everything we can to keep our staff and students healthy. If your child exhibits the following symptoms, please keep them at home until the symptoms have subsided for at least 24 hours:
• vomiting
• diarrhea
• fever over 99 degrees
• severe coughing
• any suspicious rash
Thank you for helping us keep a healthy school!
