Third Grade Chick Project

Our third graders have been involved in a science project of hatching chick eggs. For the past three weeks, they have kept the eggs warm, turned them, and watched them carefully under the supervision of Miss Kristen Stevens, their teacher. On Monday, May 7, we had two chicks hatch while the students watched! Another one hatched over the weekend. Today, MoMo, JoJo, and CoCo are basking in their sun lamp, and eating chick food! The chicks will be with us this week, and then will be going to Miss Becky’s (PreK Aide) house to live with the rest of their chickens!

The Kindergarten class is looking for tadpoles to raise in their classroom for a few weeks.  Please contact Mrs. O’Regan if you have access to some!
