BROCKTON CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
2009 Required Summer Reading
Entering grades 1– 8

PARENT INFORMATION

The Brockton Christian School faculty has worked together to produce a required summer reading list for all students entering grades 1 - 8. Books should be available in your local library. Reading Lists and Response Forms will be available at the school office during office hours, the Brockton Public Library, the West Bridgewater Public Library, and also available at the BCS website.

http://www.brocktonchristian.com

Each student should read the books, and complete a Reading Response for each book read.  (Students in grades 7 and 8 need to memorize a poem as well.)  Students should bring the completed forms to school on the first day of school on August 27, 2009.  Students will be graded on the required reading activity.

It is our goal that students will continue to build on skills learned during the school year, and will prepare for the coming year by continuing to read, read, read!
