Our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner was held
on Friday, November 18. We had a wonderful, home cooked meal
of turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce,
corn, carrots, green beans, rolls, drinks (apple cider, soda
or Simpson Springs water) and brownies with Peaceful Meadows
ice cream! Our students, staff, and teachers enjoyed a sit-down
meal, served by our Middle School students and parent volunteers.
We would like to thank the following parents and companies
who contributed to our meal, or helped cook it!

Tuition
Information
We would
appreciate your prompt payment of tuition in December. With
the onset of winter, our fuel bills increase. We would like
to pay our teachers before the Christmas break, so your prompt
payment will make this possible.
With a student body count of 110, it is absolutely critical
that tuition payments be made on time. Thank you!

"Counting Blessings"
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As a child, I remember singing the hymn,
“Count Your Blessings”, at church and at home.
It was a reminder to think about all the good things that
God had given us.
“Count your blessings, name them one
by one,
Count your blessings, see what God has done;;;”
As a single parent, when my daughter Jessica
was little, and money was tight, sometimes it was tough to
count blessings. There would be times that she would be saddened
that her father did not contact her. So, we used to sit in
the car and talk about all the other people that God had put
in our lives. We learned together to name our blessings –
the people that God gave us – one by one. Mr. And Mrs.
Willis, Mr. And Mrs. Anderson, her grandparents, teachers,
Sunday School teachers, her friends… and the list went
on. We started calling it our “Blessing List.”
Somehow, focusing on the blessings that God gave us helped
us to realize how much we DID have. It is scriptural to give
thanks for all things, not just at Thanksgiving. God’s
Word states in I Thessalonians 5:17, “give thanks in
all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ
Jesus.”
This Thanksgiving,
when you sit down for your dinner, take time to give thanks.
Create your own “Blessing List.” Put 5 kernals
of corn on your plate and use them to count your blessings.
Offer a prayer of thanksgiving to God. Whatever you do, take
time to give thanks to the Giver of all things, our great
and mighty God.
