• 8:00 AM- Chapel-our second grade students will be our chapel presenters

• 9:00-Parent and student panel- our guests will view a PowerPoint presentation of the school, and have the opportunity to ask questions of some of our students and parents

• 9:00-Prospective students may attend the class of the grade that they are in

• 10:00-our junior high students will give tours of the school for our visiting families

World Culture Day

On Wednesday, March 15th, BCS will be sponsoring our second “World Culture Day, “ celebrating the different cultures that represent the families of BCS.

We invite you and your family to participate. We need to have parents, grandparents, or extended family members available to share about their culture or traditions. We will have chapel, a special “World Fair,” and a special program in the afternoon.

Parents: We need your help!

• Your children will be asked to bring in music, maps, posters, and food that reflect your culture.

• Parents and adults are needed to help supervise tables of activities.

• Are you willing to bake or make a food item that reflects your family heritage?

Please let us know in the school office, or contact your child’s teacher.

Our “World Fair” will be held from 10:00-11:30 AM. Come and enjoy and participate! Note to students: this is not a dress down day! However, if you would like to wear clothing from another culture or country, you may do so! If you have any further questions, please contact Mrs. Hodges as soon as possible. Thank you.

Jump Rope For Heart

On Friday, March 17, the BCS students will jump into the fight against heart disease and stroke with Jump Rope For Heart. The fun starts will be during gym class with Mr. McDowell!

This popular event takes place in other schools all over the country. Students jump rope and collect donations from family and friends. Our efforts help other kids and adults who may have heart disease or stroke. Jumpers who raise a certain amount of money receive thank-you gifts.

Jump Rope For Heart is a school fitness and education program. It teaches the value of cardiovascular fitness while raising money for research into heart disease and stroke. These diseases are our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers.

Jump Rope For Heart is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

More information will go home with your child on Friday, March 3.

BCS Parent Booster Club

Our Parent Booster Club meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, March 6, at 7:00 PM! Would you like to help support your child’s school? Come meet with other parents to talk about volunteering and possible fundraising activities.

Re-Enrollment is NOW!

We are now in our re-enrollment period. Please note that new students will be registering as well, so send in your re-enrollment form to ensure a place for your child!

Our Prospective Student Open Houses will be on March 8 and April 5. Remember – you receive a credit on your February 2007 tuition if you refer students and they enroll! See your enrollment package for details.

How Can Parents Help?

We are in our enrollment (and re-enrollment) time at Brockton Christian School. As we prepare for next year, there are many things that parents can do to help!

• Tell your family and friends that “great things are happening at my child’s school!”

• Bring a CD with a PowerPoint presentation to a friend’s home or to your church or pastor (available in the school office)

• Give out a full-color brochure to a friend or co-worker

• Give out our school website address to a friend or co-worker (www.brocktonchristian.com)

• Email a friend or acquaintance and send them a link to our email address - administration@brocktonchristian.com

• Last, but not least – here’s our phone number (508) 588-4669!

Remember – if a new family enrolls and writes your name on the application as a reference, the following February you will receive a $250.00 tuition discount! ($100.00 for any additional families)
